Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul. Who are you grateful to?
Please join us for an afternoon of gratitude as we listen to Beth’s words of wisdom, create our own personal gratitude bracelet and top the day off with an ice cream social.
We at IPPW are grateful to our members and supporters and want to show how much you mean to us. We will be making our own gratitude bracelets and sharing stories of what we are grateful for.
Explore Gratitude . . . Make a Gratitude Bracelet
Inspiration sometimes comes from our darkest moments. That’s what Beth Gross-Santos discovered after hitting what she thought was rock bottom. She became temporarily derailed, but not defeated.
Through an intense soul-searching process, Beth transformed into a Gratitude Facilitator. Her notion of gratitude is symbolized by a spiral to represent growth and evolution. She believes by sharing the feeling of gratitude, the spiral can continue to be a source of positive energy and inspiration to all. And she’s doing that, not with an olive branch, but with the humble pit.
More than two decades ago, while picking olives on the island of Crete, Beth noticed many abandoned on the ground. She used her trusty Swiss Army Knife to carve the first gratitude bracelet from a rotting piece of fruit. Now, with a more expanded vision as a self-appointed Gratitude Facilitator, and an entire collection of Gratitude jewelry, she invites other to participate in growing gratitude worldwide by wearing and sharing hand-made bracelets that turn the olive pits into a symbol of positivity.
In this hands-on event, participants will explore the meaning of gratitude and make a gratitude bracelet to take home or give to a special someone.
