Come for an amazing evening and tell your friends … we just might be networking with ghosts!
A FREE Presentation hosted by IPPW’s Lisa Yesse
For many parents, this time of year conjures up images of Halloween night when their little ghosts, goblins and super heroes’ will descend on the neighborhood. But for some adults, this is a time of year when there is an increased fascination in connecting with the spirit realm.
If you are one of them, please join us – we are fortunate to have paranormal investigators Karen Mossey and Michael Sullivan present an evening of EVP (electronic voice phenomenon) and ITC (instrumental trans-communication). EVP are sounds (and words) captured on electronic equipment with no apparent physical source — many thought to come from the ‘other side’.
Karen and Mike will play for us some actual samples they’ve recorded over the years. Perhaps you’ve already heard some of Karen’s work, which has been featured in the TV series Ghost Whisperer and the movie White Noise!
Bring your recording device – Karen and Mike will demonstrate how to try to capture your own EVP recordings!
Some old buildings and cemeteries seem to have an increased likelihood of EVP capture. What about the Amherst Library? Could those whispers we hear be more than patrons respecting library quiet space? If the library disappoints and weather allows, we can venture over to a local cemetery.
