IPPW member, speaker and author Annette Fazio will be in Maine on August 15 talking about her book Finding The Leader Within.
In the wake of 9/11, then restaurant owner Annette Fazio felt compelled to honor FDNY firefighters by writing “Finding the Leader Within”. In her book and talk she weaves in the stories of how the residents of York, Maine and business owners of the Seacoast Area stepped up to support her vision of feeding a Brooklyn fire house, physically and spiritually for one year. Her book describes how extraordinary people face down their towering obstacles and proceed with grace and courage. Annette calls this action, tapping into their “leader within.”
